The end of a marriage or significant relationship can be so incredibly painful.

And, it’s also an opportunity for a new beginning.

Hi! I’m Tamar Barbash, an accredited breakup and divorce coach and former social worker. I’m also a mother of three who’s been through several difficult breakups, including a marriage separation.

I come to this process with an understanding of how painful and difficult it can be when a relationship ends.

The mourning process involves not only grieving for the relationship as it existed in the past and present, but also for all the dreams and visions you had for the future that can no longer be realized.

And on top of that, the complications are incredibly challenging, especially when children are involved.

My mission is to help you find ways to look forward with confidence instead of with sadness and regret.

I hold a Masters in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University (2009)  as well as an accreditation as a Breakup and Divorce Coach from Sara Davison’s International Divorce Coach Centre of Excellence (2023).

The closing of one door means the opportunity to open another.

It may not be the one you envisioned, but it may just hold wonderful experiences that you never even thought to imagine.

Let’s work together to find the door that’s right for your next chapter, and figure out the steps to take to get you through it.
